General Rental Information & Form

Licensee's Insurance - Liability Insurance is mandatory for events and/or activities at The Centre (Centre Church). A minimum coverage limit of $5,000,000 Commercial General Liability insurance against third party claims for bodily injury, death, property, and loss of use must be obtained prior to 30 days of your event. Licensee must provide evidence of insurance, in the form of a Standard Insurance Certificate completed by the insurance company and must be provided before permission will be given for use of our facility. Licensee is free to obtain the required insurance from any insurance company of their choice, provided the coverage obtained meets the minimum insurance requirements.

Parking - There is no parking available on site. Parking required for bus and trucks can be arranged with the City of Vancouver to reserve parking metres on Homer St by using the following link: http://vancouver.ca/streets-transportation/reserve-metered-spaces.aspx Staff, volunteers and/or guests are encouraged to find street parking and/or lots in the surrounding area. Usage of The Centre (Centre Church) - By renting the Facility to the Licensee, The Centre in no way relinquishes its right to control the management of the Facility and to enforce all necessary rules and regulations as may be required. The Centre may use other components of the Facility during the event that does not interfere with the usage by the Licensee.

Operation of Sound and Technical Equipment - Only The Centre trained and/or XcitePlus Audio/Video technicians shall be allowed to set up, operate and take down equipment in the facility.

8am is the earliest time. If needed, an earlier time may be arranged at an extra cost.
If the rental request is for a company meeting, please enter the Company Name.
Any details you can provide will help us prepare for and/or work with you to better ensure your event runs smoothly. For concerts and performances, please provide a technical rider as soon as it is available.
Our venue has the following capacity: Maximum 1,820 seats (1,063 orchestra level, 367 dress circle, and 390 balcony)
No-Intermission Fee: $500 for concerts, and performances that don't have an intermission of at least 15 minutes long.
Merchandise deliveries can only be accepted on the event day or arranged no earlier than 1 day before the event.
All concession and catering services for the general public is provided by Lavish Liquid.
This is not a contract, but a request for information. The items listed above under “General Rental Information” are provided for informational purposes only and, if a request for rental is approved by Westside Church, the rental will be subject to the terms and conditions set out in Westside Church’s written rental agreement. Westside Church maintains the right of refusal of any request. The information provided on this form will only be kept for internal purposes.
